Lear played a brilliant unbeaten innings of 75 runs, anchoring the innings, while Vesey and De Souza provided valuable support. Langley was the only bowler who claimed a wicket for Malmesbury.

Purton went out to bat before the rain came, their openers Javed and Cook struggled to get going scoring 11 & 10 runs respectively. Bowler played a match-winning innings, remaining unbeaten with a brilliant half-century (50 runs). Hill provided excellent support, remaining not out on 18 runs. Trowbridge 2's bowlers struggled to make breakthroughs. The rain came and Purton faced a revised target of 58 runs in 21 overs due to rain interruptions and the Duckworth-Lewis method.as Purton had already amased more than the required total and were awarded a comprehensive 8 wicker win.
Cook's all-around performance for Purton was commendable, contributing with both bat and ball. His four wickets in Trowbridge 2's innings played a crucial role in restricting their total. Bowler's unbeaten fifty showcased his ability to handle pressure and guide his team to victory.
