Devizes 2nds vs Melksham
Rogers and Dunford tried to stabilize the innings with their gritty knocks. Rogers played a valuable innings of 36 runs before being caught by the keeper off the bowling of Mitchell. Dunford, on the other hand, showed great determination and contributed 37 runs to the team's total. However, the rest of the batting lineup struggled to make an impact, with wickets falling at regular intervals. Despite some resistance from Singh (22) and J Dunford (12 not out) towards the end, Devizes 2 were eventually bowled out for 144 runs in 40.5 overs. Merrett and Hemmings were the pick of the bowlers for Melksham, picking up 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
Chasing, Melksham got off to a solid start with Carpenter scoring 11 runs before being caught by Helps off the bowling of Shihaz. However, it was Mitchell who stole the show with a magnificent unbeaten century. He remained not out on 114 runs, displaying exceptional batting skills and guiding his team to victory. Forester also played a crucial role, contributing 21* runs to the winning total.
Melksham reached the target comfortably in just 26.5 overs, finishing on 150 for 2 wickets. The bowlers from Devizes found it challenging to break through Melksham's strong batting lineup, with Holloway and Shihaz taking a wicket each. Melksham's victory earned them 25 valuable points, with Mitchell being the standout performer of the match. Devizes, despite the loss, managed to secure 5 points from the game.
Great Bedwyn vs Chippenham 3rds
Chippenham bating first, posted a challenging target of 194 runs for Great Bedwyn to chase. Dunford was the first to depart, caught behind by Tuttle off the bowling of Khan, after contributing 9 runs to the total. Prasad Maduvegadde played a crucial innings, scoring 53 runs and providing a solid foundation for Chippenham 3.
Bruce (24) and Neves (14) also made valuable contributions to keep the scoreboard ticking. However, it was the innings of Richardson that propelled Chippenham to a competitive total. Richardson showcased his batting prowess, smashing 44 runs before being bowled by Tuttle. Phillips (18 not out) played a vital role in the later stages of the innings, helping Chippenham reach 194 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 45 overs.
Great Bedwyn's bowlers put up a commendable performance, with Blundy being the pick of the bowlers, claiming 3 wickets for 35 runs. Cox also contributed took two scalps along the way.

In response, Swindon chased down the target of 128 runs with 5 wickets in hand and 11.3 overs to spare. Howell played a crucial knock, scoring 57 runs, while Tiwari (35) also made valuable contributions. Singh took 2 wickets for Potterne , but Swindon maintained their composure and reached the target comfortably.
Royal Wootton Bassett 2's vs Combe Down
Combe Down started the match batting. However, they faced a tough time against the Royal Wootton Bassett bowlers, losing wickets at regular intervals. Rawes batting at number 7 was the top scorer for Combe Down with a fighting knock of 36 runs. Griffin was the standout bowler for Royal Wootton Bassett 2, taking 4 wickets for 30 runs. Lancaster and Chahal also contributed with 2 wickets each as Combe Down was bowled out for just 95 runs in 33 overs.
Chasing a low target, Royal Wootton Bassett had a comfortable run chase. Burke (31*) and Chahal (16*) remained unbeaten as Royal Wootton Bassett reached the target of 96 runs in 25 overs with 7 wickets in hand. Balusu and Sharma made valuable contributions with scores of 24 and 14 respectively.
Combe Down bowlers tried their best to defend the total, with Howes being the most successful with 2 wickets for 21 runs. However, their efforts were not enough to prevent Royal Wootton Bassett from securing a convincing victory.
Wanborough vs White Horse
White Horse batting first. Clarke opening the batting, played a brilliant innings, scoring 63 runs, supported by Kumar (38) and Leach (25). Jones was the pick of the Wanborough bowlers, taking 3 wickets. White Horse set a competitive total of 224 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 45 overs.
Chasing a target of 225 runs, Wanborough put up a strong fight. Baldwin played a remarkable innings, scoring 97 runs, falling just short of a century. Joynson also contributed with a valuable knock of 57 runs. However, Wanborough fell short by 8 runs as they managed to reach 216 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their 45 overs.
In the bowling department, Barkur and Tiwari were the standout performers for White Horse, taking 2 wickets each. Despite the efforts of Wanborough's batsmen, their innings fell just short of the target set by White Horse.
White Horse's well-rounded performance with both bat and ball allowed them to secure an exciting victory keeping them top of the division 3 table by 5 points over royal Woorron Basset 2nds.
