Christian Malford vs Marlborough 2nds

Christian Malford displayed their dominance in a one-sided encounter, securing a convincing 8-wicket victory over Marlborough. Marlborough set a target of 199 runs in their 45 overs, with Head's unbeaten 53 being the highest individual score supported by contributions from Crabbe (38) and Gandhi (33). Dixon stood out with the ball, taking 4 wickets for Christian Malford. In their chase, Christian Malford showcased their batting prowess as Dixon played a remarkable unbeaten century, scoring 106 runs, while Turner added 33 runs to the total. Christian Malford comfortably achieved the target in just 36.1 overs, with 8 wickets in hand. Although Taylor and Vaishnav managed to take a wicket each for Marlborough 2, they couldn't prevent Christian Malford from securing the victory. The comprehensive performance with the bat, particularly Dixon's century, sealed the win for Christian Malford.

Corsham 3 vs Hinton Charterhouse 2nds

Hinton Charterhouse 2 emerged victorious with a comfortable 6-wicket win over Corsham in the match. Corsham batted first and managed to score 140 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their allotted 45 overs. Fourie was the standout performer with a brilliant knock of 80 runs. However, the rest of the batting lineup struggled to make significant contributions. The Hinton Charterhouse 2 bowlers performed well, with Knight and Goodman taking 2 wickets each.

Chasing the target, Hinton Charterhouse got off to a shaky start, losing an early wicket. However, Knight played a superb unbeaten innings of 79 runs, anchoring the innings and leading his team to victory. Goodman (20) also made a valuable contribution. Corsham 3 bowlers Fourie up three wickets , but their efforts were not enough to prevent Hinton Charterhouse 2 from reaching the target of 141 runs in just 30.3 overs, securing the win with 6 wickets in hand.

Keevi vs Bishops Cannings

Bishops Cannings secured a convincing 8-wicket victory over Keevil in a one-sided encounter. Keevil batted first and struggled to build a substantial total, getting bowled out for just 94 runs in 23.1 overs. Burtwell top-scored with a resilient knock of 20 runs, while Alsop was the pick of the Bishops Cannings bowlers, claiming 3 wickets. Chasing a modest target, Bishops Cannings wasted no time in their pursuit. They reached the target of 95 runs in just 9.1 overs with 8 wickets in hand. Stan Alsop showcased his all-round skills, contributing with a magnificent unbeaten half-century, scoring 52 runs. Tommy Joyce (23) and Matt Lever (11) also played their part in the comfortable victory. The Keevil bowlers struggled to make an impact, with Matt Lever taking 4 wickets for Bishops Cannings. They executed their chase brilliantly, led by Alsop's impressive innings, sealing the victory in a swift manner.

Purton 2nds vs Beehive Soutwick

Beehive Southwick secured a convincing 140-run victory over Purton in a one-sided encounter. Beehive Southwick batted first and posted a formidable total of 263 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their allotted 45 overs. Rendall led the charge with an impressive knock of 75 runs, supported by contributions from Brown (39) and Cooper (32). Collins was the standout bowler for Purton , taking 4 wickets. In pursuit of the challenging target, Purton 2 struggled to build partnerships and lost wickets at regular intervals. They were bowled out for a mere 123 runs in 36.5 overs. Cooper fought valiantly with a gritty knock of 61 runs, but lacked support from the other batsmen. Collins was the pick of the Beehive Southwick bowlers, claiming 4 wickets, while Rendall also made a significant impact with 3 wickets.

Purton 2's batting lineup failed to match the target set by Beehive Southwick, falling well short of the required total. Beehive Southwick's comprehensive performance with both bat and ball ensured their dominant victory by 140 runs. They displayed a strong batting display, coupled with disciplined bowling, sealing the win convincingly.

Sherston Magna vs Winsley 2

In a closely contested match, Winsley 2 emerged victorious by 3 wickets against Sherston Magna. Sherston Magna batted first and set a target of 209 runs for Winsley 2. Dickenson played a crucial innings, scoring 45 runs, supported by contributions from Howell (22) and Dickenson (23). The bowling performance of Simpson stood out as he took 3 wickets for 33.

In their chase, Winsley 2 started slowly but steadily built partnerships. Richards played a match-winning knock of 124 runs, anchoring the innings.
